Abound was founded by three long-time colleagues and friends who shared a simple belief: that disability support should be purposeful, consistent, and grounded in real relationships. After years working across the NDIS and broader human services sector, we saw how often participants were met with rushed, inconsistent, or impersonal support - and knew there was a better way.
So we started Abound. A service that delivers high-quality care with heart. One that values structure and follow-through, but never at the expense of warmth and connection. One that empowers people to live life their way, with support that fits.

Meet Our Directors

Spenser Johnstone
Managing Director
Spenser brings frontline and property experience to his role, having previously managed SIL properties and currently working part-time as a firefighter. At Abound, he’s all about driving standards—pushing for world-class support through consistent systems and long-term thinking. He’s tenacious, practical, and deeply committed to creating something that lasts. Outside of work, Spenser is a keen surfer and fitness fanatic.

Andrew Glynn
Service Delivery Manager
Andrew has worked across the sector as both a support worker and a support coordinator. He brings deep knowledge, calm energy, and a genuine love of connecting with people. At Abound, Andrew leads service delivery with a focus on clarity, trust, and the relationships that make good support truly work. In his spare time, he’s either creating music or out riding his motorcycle.

Damon Apter
Business Operations Manager
Damon’s background is in hands-on support, having worked in day programs before co-founding Abound. He’s focused on creating a culture where people feel respected and the small details are done right. Damon’s known for being approachable and grounded, and is passionate about building a service that doesn’t just work – but feels good to be part of. Outside of work, you’ll find him walking his dogs or trying to improve his short game on the golf course.
